Hi all.
My installation of NWE worked absolutely fine when i installed. After installing the V2.1 patch to run most activities i have downloaded, the route no longer works even in explore mode. On the msts home screen 3 of the 4 options to drive a train etc are greyed out and im unable to select them. The only option that i can click on is tutorial. I am using trainstore and i have all the stock necessary to run the activities. Ive not had this problem with any other route and nothing i try including a clean installation of NWE and the patch have worked.
Thanks for any help

Hi
Which version of NWE are you trying to patch?
Can you please give me the ukts file numbers (if your'e not using the CD, that is) together with the file no of the patch, and I will try to assist.

Re: NWE V2.1 Patch
I don't think that the patch is to blame....
It only installs a new .tdb and one single world file, to correct a minor track mis-alignment.
This is more or less confirmed by you having the same problem occur with a 'clean' NWE install, which would immediately overwrite anything the patch had placed anyhow.
I strongly suspect it has something to do with your trainstore settings. I'm not an authority on trainstore, so I cannot give you any pointers, but I'm sure that someone out there will.

Re: NWE V2.1 Patch
In Trainstore make sure the whole route is unstored. Then use easytrainstore to store all activities except the one you want to run. That should fix it.
Re: NWE V2.1 Patch
Do apologise. I think i might have mis worded my first post. A clean install of the NWE route does work fine. Once the patch is reinstalled i have the same problem.I don't think that the patch is to blame.... It only installs a new .tdb and one single world file, to correct a minor track mis-alignment.
