CANNOCK CHASE ROUTE

I have downloaded and unzipped the five files as it says in the readme then it says execute Cannock Chase. exe. to install route to MSTS ROUTES CC5 How do i do this please Thanks Peter.

From the installation instructions:

3). Download all 5 Zips into a temporary folder and unzip them there.
4). Execute "CC5_Cannock_Chase.exe". This will automatically install the route for you into :-
C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesTrain SimulatorROUTESCC5.
5).Go into the routes file folder "CC5 and double click on the file "installme.bat" and this will complete the installation.

So....

1) Unzip the contents of each of the five UKTSxxxxxxxx.ZIP files into a temporary folder

You will then have these files (if I've interpreted the names correctly. If they're not identical, they'll be similar)

CC5_Cannock_Chase.exe
CC5_Cannock_Chase.Z01
CC5_Cannock_Chase.Z02
CC5_Cannock_Chase.Z03
CC5_Cannock_Chase.Z04

2) Now run CC5_Cannock_Chase.exe. Double click on the file in Windows Explorer

The route will extract....

Finally...

3) Go to the CC% folder and run the installme.bat file. Double click on the file in Windows Explorer

Depending on the program used for unzipping the files, they may have names like "UKTS_2****3.CC5_Cannock_Chase.Zoi" where 2***3 is the file ID. If this is the case re-name all these files by removing the first part of the title to leave just the CC5_Cannock_Chase.*** portion then follow the instructions above.

Sorry i thought i had done it but when going in to explore route a message says Failed to load SMS Track type File.I have installed X Tracks.Help please Thanks.Peter

I think C-C may require the addon Steam Track sounds which can be obtained from the file library here
