Bits of my loco are missing

Post by DESPATCH »

When I load an avtivity for the Evesham add-on, pieces of the loco are missing eg connecting rods ,buffer beams and buffers. I also have a 3DTS King which when loaded is only half there with the far side of the loco missing. In all cases inside the cab is fine and they drive perfectly. I have deleted the offending items and then re-installed but with the same effect. To date I have found this only on these items. The problem sounds as if it could be very technical and am bothered it might eventually affect other rolling stock. Has the experts any ideas please?

Thanks for that. I don't know why I manage to overlookthe obvious!! Perhaps it's because I usually run with loco detail at 100%.

May I just add for any newcomers to MSTS, When you start MSTS the graphic settings are set to the default, 640 x 480 which is pretty naff. Click on Options and open the Display and set your screen resolution to as high as you can. I run on 1280 x 1024 x 16bit. You can also set the slider bar to Best Performance or Best Graphics, again mine is set to the limit Best Graphics. Click set when you exit. You can alter the Advanced Display by checking most of the boxes and using the slider bars. Its a matter of trial and error, depending on your machine. Older computers may need lower settings, but if your computer is no more than twelve months old, it should run with all settings to the maximum.
