Mprofile

Post by g4vvz »

Hello,

I'm trying to run MS Trainsim on a new computer. I've run before on another machine. Having installed I click on the desktop shortcuts and I just get a small window saying "Mprofile, Profiling....". This closes and nothing happens. I can go to the program files/msgame/train simulator director and run train.exe and that works. I don't know how to get the editor and tools working however. Any help greatly appreciated.

Nigel.

Hi Nigel,
To access the route and activity editor it should be as follows on your desktop:
start, all programs, microsoft games, microsoft train simulator, then a drop down box appears and it should be there.Hope it helps.

that didn't work (thanks anyway) but....

I've found the answer however, run in Window95 Compatability mode. (Right click on icon, select properties then go to the Compatibility tab and tick the box and select Win95)

Hi g4vvz and welcome to the Forum, :n00b:

Are you running Vista on your new P/C? If so look at this Thread http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 73&t=66143

You need to run MSTS as an Administrator.
