Route Editor problem after reinstall

I recently reinstalled msts after a 2 month or so break, but routes in re don't show correctly - terrain is black, buildings have no definition and each look like a multicoloured snowstorm, markers are similar, but trackbed and textured sky displays correctly. Routes show fine when being driven, just not in re. I've reinstalled again with no luck, I've never encountered this problem before so any ideas as to a solution would be very much appreciated (I have Vista, but re worked fine with that previously).

Investigated some more, turns out I'd wrongly installed drivers . I'll try reading the instructions properly next time.
