Re: Help required to load Ashburton Downloads into MSTS

Hi Doug, I am posting this general posting to let everyone and in particular yourself know how I got on this afternoon when I had a look at finding the files you advised me to alter.
I was able to look in the Class_14xx loco folder and while the .eng was listed in its files when pointing the mouse arrow on it, after clicking on it I was only able to see and open the 1470.eng sound file and obviously could not see the lines you mentioned, I was prepared to give it a rest for the time being.
I am a determined blighter, so I did a general search on the computer for the 1470.eng. file and once I had found it, I then clicked to open it and hay presto the correct file listing was available, so I just ammended the two lines instead of copying and pasting the necessary changes from the Scotsman.eng file into its new location.
After making the changes I saved the file and I then copied all the files in the Scotsman Sound folder into the 1470 sound file as Doug has said I must do.
I then closed everything down and run Trainstore and chose the V1.0 Ashburton Introductory Activity, I found the changes had worked and all the necessary sounds while looking straight ahead in the cab were there, to say I am delighted is an understatement and will enjoy my night out at the Karaoke even more than normal tonight.
Before anybody ask no I don't sing, I am really "Simon Cowell" in disguise and have to make opinions after each singer, but unlike the real "Simon" I always say nice things because they have more courage that I have.
I will print out the listing of Activities for the V1.0 you have told me about and later on I will downloaded them once I get my Premium Membership.

Once again thanks for all the help and advice on sorting out my problem and I can look forward to enjoying running a few Activities on the V1.0 Ashburton Route.
