Firstly are you using trainstore. Trainstore is essential for such a big route and it wont run at all well, if at all, without it. The sound errors may well be related to the same problem as they are large and take a while to load, and msts doesnt wait for them :( I think turning settings down will be needed too. Try sounds at medium, best graphics/performance slider two notches towards performance, and everything else down one to start with.

how good is your PC???

Cos i had problems like this when starting the activities in places like Liverpool, Manchester and London. I found there were certain spots that were safe for loading e.g. Bletchley station.

The reason behind this i believe is that trainsim struggles to load the dense scenery in such areas though the bin patch should help

turn down your settings a wee bit

cheers

Bill

Are you using easy trainstore and just running a single activity at a time, or have you got the whole route unstored. Make sure you have GE stored too if thats what's tipped the balance.

Might be worth copying the latest tsection.dat file again, just in case GE overwrote yours with an older version.

I think you got that in one, Laurie. I'm sure GE installs a tsection.dat file that is older that what many routes need.

Hi

Dave tha author of TM issued a patch that allows all activities to be played with MSTS Bin. Try installing this.

Best Regards Arthur
