Error at Saltash?

Post by loneranger »

OK, I'll admit to being hasty(patience isn't one of my virtues, alas).

I created an activity from Plymouth to Penzance, train only so far; adding other trains will come later(hope).

The train runs all right up to the Royal Albert Bridge, but when it comes off of the bridge and runs into Saltash station it takes the wrong track. If I change the point to get the train to run into Saltash properly(left hand track, as it should be) I run into a red signal, and the next station box informs me that the train is "off path".

Where are you changing the points? Are you doing it in MSTS itself or using the Activity Editor?

Have a look at your path in Activity Editor and if that is set wrong, change there and re-test the activity and all should be fine.

"gswindale",

Thanks very much for that(didn't know you could change the path!).

I did as you suggested and everything looks fine.

There would appear to be a lot in Activity Editor that I have yet to discover.

Glad that's worked.

Abacus publishing (http://www.abacuspub.com) have a guide to Activity Creation which is well worth a look and available as a PDF to download for $10 (approx £5).
