Hi i am using the class 37 sounds on the site and was wondering if anybody could give me a step by step guide of how to install them.

1. Zip the downloaded folder to your Common Sounds folder.
2. Open the desired loco .eng file with Notepad and change the sound lines by replacing the old sms names with the new, eg. gp38eng.sms to RAClass37Eng.sms. Look in the new 37 sound folder and the eng and cab sms files for the names.
3. Copy and paste the new sound files into the loco's SOUND folder, including the sms files.
ConBuilder would do this for you, but sometimes I've noticed you don't have both sms files for the player loco to choose from - it sometimes just lists an AI cab or eng sms file so you don't get cab or eng sound if you alias. Doing it the slow way should work if you remember to place the files in the loco's SOUND folder - otherwise MSTS, daft as it is, can't find them.
That's what I've experienced anyway. Hope it works as it's worked for me and I can say they are excellent sounds.
