i downloaded the dorset coast route and now im having problems with running msts can anyone help me please, with putting the dorset coast route in the right folder etc.

"I am having problems" could mean almost anything, so we need to hone in on what's wrong.
A few questions...
Have you followed the instructions in the readme.txt file to the letter...including running the installme.bat file in the route folder??
Have you installed Trainstore?
And finally...What exactly is the problem? Are you unsure how to install, or are you having problems when running the route after you've installed it? And if you're getting error messages, what are they?
