Its been removed for upgrading and will re-appear later in the year on a DVD as Thames Mersey V4. Further sale of the V3.2 CD isnt possible due to copyright issues, but you can still pick up a free one from one of the ukts roadshows while stocks last.

Check the diary and see if there is one near you soon. The team will be at Alexandra Palace in London this weekend. :)

Hi, and welcome to the forums.

(EDIT - you just beat me to it Laurie!)

From what you say, I think you may be trying to install the wrong Thames - Mersey files. The ones you need for a complete installation of Version 4.1 are as follows:

 Click to view more informationThames-Mersey Complete Route - File 1 of 4 [58421418 bytes] - MerseyC1.zip
File ID: 14386 Date: 14 Apr 2006 - 7471 Downloads

 Click to view more informationThames-Mersey Complete Route - File 2 of 4 [59332004 bytes] - MerseyC2.zip
File ID: 14387 Date: 14 Apr 2006 - 6176 Downloads

 Click to view more informationThames-Mersey Complete Route - File 3 of 4 [58362255 bytes] - MerseyC3.zip
File ID: 14388 Date: 14 Apr 2006 - 6469 Downloads

 Click to view more informationThames-Mersey Complete Route - File 4 of 4 [56901939 bytes] - MerseyC4.zip
File ID: 14389 Date: 14 Apr 2006 - 6394 Downloads

Downloadable routes don't usually come with activities but there are plenty available for download here:

http://www.uktrainsim.com/filelib-direc ... 9,cls=1315

However, be aware that you'll inevitably need to also download a lot of stock items for these activities to work. If you're unsure about how to do this or don't have a broadband connection, you might wish to wait for the forthcoming Thames - Mersey DVD to be issued (hopefully sometime soon). This will contain the full up-to-date route, around 140 activities (I think), all the stock you need to run them complete with cabs and sounds, also a front-end menu that makes installing all of this very easy.

If you prefer to await the DVD, watch for updates on the main site page. Ordering it would also give you one month's complementary premier membership.

Hope this helps.

Cheers
Ashley

Most of the stock on the CD is the same as the stock you can download.

The folders simply have a different name.

For instance, UK_Carriage_BR_Mk1SKmaroon on the CD is the same as Mk1SKmaroon from the download library.

You probably have about half the stock already.
You can either change the folder name or use one of the utilities to change the activity files.

Some of the CD stuff may have been updated but the download version will still work in the activity.

If an item is a CD exclusive then ask in the forums and someone will suggest a replacement.

Have you run the INSTALLME.BAT batch file that is in the route folder for the route??

I think the file concerned is one of the files from the default routes that are copied to the Thames Mersey route by that batch file.

If by chance it's not that, check to ensure you have TEXTURED SKIES ticked in the settings menu options.

You only need what the readme file says you need. What error messages are you getting?

That sounds like either a NEWROADS file or a PLATFORM KIT file - have you checked the read me file that comes with the route to see if you've got these items?

Cheers
