MSTS download

Hi
Does anyone know if there is a reliable download for MSTS? I ask because I have a new computer which runs on Windows 10 and when I attempt to load MSTS, the 1st disc loads, but disc 2 just spins. I have seen some after 'googling', but I'm not sure if they are safe.

Hi Phillip,
There is no such thing as a legitimate MSTS download, so keep well clear!!

I believe the problem is caused by the piracy protection (SafeDisc) built into CD2; there is a work around, but I can't lay my hands on it at the moment.

Have you tried creating a temporary folder on your PC and then copying the contents of each CD into it (you will get one overwrite request - allow it). When completed, open the folder and run Setup.exe as administrator. Don't forget to follow the Steam4Me tutorial regarding installation! See : http://msts.steam4me.net/tutorials/inst ... ts_w7.html
When it's installed, don't try to run it, but apply the update (there's a link in the above-mentioned tutorial) first.

Thanks for that Ged. I had serious doubts over the sites that came up when I searched, which is why I inquired on here. I'll try your suggestion over the holiday and see how it goes. Thanks again for your help.
