Help!

Hi Guys. 
First and foremost i hope you've had a happy and peacefull Christmas.
A few weeks ago my computer had a nervous brakedown&i had to take it into the computer hospital.
They managed to save a lot of things but i lost the trainsim which i had'nt backed up (silly me!) Anyway whilst it was in there they put windows 7 on it.I took it home started to put the trainsim back on it which worked fine with just the default routes on it but then i ran into problems when i tried to add aditional routes&stock etc.
Thankfully all this took place just prior to the Warley model railway show where my brother&i on the Sunday came across the UKTS crew&after a helpfull chat with one of them where he told me not to put it in the default location but to put it into it's own folder which it now is&called msts.
However after downloading more Loco's,coaches&wagons i'm now getting problems.Whenever i try starting the game via Trainstore i get the message 'Gui\screens\load.ace' Then when i click on yes i then get another message saying 'Failed to setup loading screen' Again i click on yes&i then get another message that states 'Something went wrong trying to load gui objects' and after that i just get either a black screen or it goes back to desktop.
Should i clear everything&download evrything again or is there an easier solution?Any help would be great.
