Recently, I downloaded the Dorset coastal track, and I cannot load it! When I do load it, it crashes saying that a tree forest file is missing.
I Downloaded all 4 zips for 4.0. I Downloaded the UKfinescale required by the program. I ran the BAT that it is included with. I do not know what else to do. Do I need an earlier version or something?

Re: Problem with Dorset Coastal
Welcome to the UKTS forums,
The readme says:
"You must have Dorset Coast Version 3, either the CD version or the downloaded version, and all 6 of the MSTS default routes installed."
There are also some V4 patches to succeed this installation. It's a bit laborious to uprade from V3 all the way to V6, but the effort is worth it.
Hope this is of use,
Regards

Re: Problem with Dorset Coastal
Hi,
A new CD version of Dorset Coast is in preparation, but there is no release date ... yet
Cheers,
Ged
EDIT : Thanks, Steve, you beat me to it!
EDIT 2 : See below : John found it before I did by about 15 minutes - Thanks mate! Sorry, I was wrong about which Forum it was in
If the four files you downloaded were numbers 15778, 15779, 15780 and 15781, then these are updates to the CD version 3, which is available from this site. Versions 4, 5 and 6, available for download, are all updates to either the download v3 or CD v3, but note there are also several patches to be applied, depending on whether your base route was download or CD. All must be applied in sequence, which is a task not to be approached lightly! One of the Wizards on this site prepared detailed instructions for the complete update; I can't locate it at present, but it's probably within the Route Building Forum.Generalcamo wrote:I Downloaded all 4 zips for 4.0.
