Hi guys
im trying to upgrade some of my units so that thay have lights that switch ends ect but im having a problem with some of them.
im having trouble getting the rear lights to show up in foward sometimes and then sometimes when cab switch have no lights at all. obviously im going wrong somewhere but just cant see where.
does anyone have a guide that i could maybe have a look at that will help me sort out the lights in the units?
many thanks

Re: MSTS lights
There's one on the MSTSBin site. Have you seen that?
Alternatively, find one that works and see what the settings are.

Re: MSTS lights
HI Matt,
The relevant loco still has to be "set up" for light switching
As Bob says there is the 'How to' on the MSTS Bin Web site.
Hope this is of some help
Good luck
Doug
When using MSTSBin to switch cabs. The loco is 'Re-Set' to the start state. I.E. If lights are off when the loco is loaded (act is started ect,) they are also off when cabs are switched.cilperiswh wrote:im having trouble getting the rear lights to show up in foward sometimes and then sometimes when cab switch have no lights at all

Re: MSTS lights
Matt,
Do you mean you are getting the white lights on the end of the rear coach that's facing the rest of the consist rather the end facing away from the rest of the consist?
Is the rear coach a .wag or a .eng? I assume it's a .eng if you want the end-switching to work.
Is the rear coach "flipped" or is it facing its as-built direction. I seem to recall that the rear coach has to be a flipped one for the end-switching lighting to work, i.e. the end that is the "front" end has to be facing away from the rest of the consist.
If you can, have a look at the lights for the 47/DBSO push-pull sets in Making Tracks' Scottish Capital Express release. They work.
Bob.

Re: MSTS lights
hi there bob, yes i mean at the moment i have the lights showing up BUT they are on the rear coach facing the consist not away from the consist like they should be.
the file is a ENG file
the train is set up <rear unit middlecar middlecar front unit> the both ends are facing <> with the arrows being the way they are facing out.
im using a 159 binlights and the msts bin guide as a guide
