Upgrading Thames-Mersey v3.2

Hi Folks

I have the CD version of TM v3.2 which I want to upgrade to v4.2 I think it is, by downloading the updates from the MSTS site.

First thing : I have downloaded and unzipped the first part into my TRAINS folder and I get a folder called "UKTS 11864 Mersey41". This contains various sub-folders such as ProgramFiles/Microsoft Games/TrainSimulator/ROUTES....etc.

Thing is, having unzipped the files, I don't know what to do next to install the route.

Second thing : I have seen mention of stock and activities relating to Thames Mersey v4.2, do these updated files provide the additional stock and activities? If not, where can I get them from.

Any advice welcomed.

Hi Ray
If I remember correctly you need that folder to be called Mersey41.
Then inside should be a BAT file... called 'Install4.1' .... double click it.
It should then run, copying the files into the 'Mersey' folder, and finally deleting itself.
However there should be a Readme.... which may say differently.
I would guess the V4 stock only comes with the V4 DVD.
Cheers

related ... pulling down 4.1 off trainsim.com (rather than here) and I don't see any obvious way to get to 4.2 via downloadable upgrades (without buying DVD) - am I missing something?
