Hi lynxlad86

If it`s the Bats Class 89 it starts with the pantograph down, (P) key to raise and lower.
If you want it to start with the pantograph already up, you will have to change the pantograph parameter in the .eng file.
Open the .eng file with a unicode text editor Wordpad, ConText etc., locate the parameter at the bottom of the file and change to:

PantographToggle1 ( 0 1 1 )

Once the pantograph is up and the brakes (;) and (') keys are `off`, (A) and (D) throttle, the Badger will move.

The Pendolino is a combined controlled system operated from the (A) and (D) keys, which sequentially operate the braking system as well as the throttle.

In both cases, Forward (W) key and Reverse (S) key respectively.

Kindest regards
Ray

Hi lynxlad86???
Sorry Missed your name. :(

Weather this is relevent to your problem I do not know but, some electirics need the 'Z' key to be pressed before they will move.
Something to do with Emergency/Parking brake I think.

No a perfect answer I know. Hope this helps

Good luck

Hi lynxlad86

With the Class 89 and the Pendolino, can you confirm that the pantograph is raised, the brake gauges ( reservoir, brake cylinder and brake pipe) pressures are indicating when the train brakes are applied or released and that forward or reverse direction is selectable in the cabview.
The reason they work fine in AI is because a cabview isn`t required, the simulator takes control.

Just stating `they just don`t move` gives no indication of what is actually happening, we need you to help us, so that we can help you. If you can explain what actually is happening in the cabview as per above instruction, that would really be helpful.

Kindest regards

Hi
If they are the EB versions then they are not Bin patch compatible.
(It looks for the panto animation)
Sometimes pressing the Z key works.
Although I think the last Bin patch ( 1.18) took this out.

Cheers

Hi Jon

Running MSTSBin 1.8.0521
Panto up at start, no emergency reset necessary with Engine Controller parameters set:

Combined_Control( 0 1 0.5 0.75 throttle train )
DirControl ( -1 0 1 1 )
EmergencyStopResetToggle( 0 1 0 )
EmergencyStopToggle( 0 1 0 )
AWS ( 0 1 0 )
Sanding ( 0 1 0 )
Horn ( 0 1 0 )
Vigilance ( 0 1 0 )
PantographToggle1 ( 0 1 1 )
Headlights ( 0 0.25 1 0 )
Wipers ( 0 1 0 )
BellToggle( 0 1 0 )

Whether these are the original settings I can`t remember. The panto is definitely animated on the EB models.

Kindest regards
