hello doug, again . as i cant find out this anywhere by using the search bar at the top. would you be able to help. what it is is i would like to get the orient express passenger view into the pullman coaches. so how would i do this.

do i copy the passenger view files from the folder of "380" into the coaches file then edit the wag files?

OH no! it's 'im again.

Yes it would the lines you need are:-
From the ****.wag file.

Inside (
PassengerCabinFile ( OEPassView.s )
PassengerCabinHeadPos ( -1.0149 2.35801 -5.47518 )
RotationLimit ( 30 80 0 )
StartDirection ( 0 0 0 )
Sound ("OEBarPas.sms" )

But you need the .ace files that the .s file uses as well and they must be in the relevent coaches Folder.

The PassengerCabinHeadPos line will probably be wrong.

-1.0149 is left and right from zero minus is left
2.35801 is up and down from zero minus is down
-5.47518 is forward and backward from zero minus is backward

Trial and error will find the best settings.
Keep the spacing and the brackets ().

thanks for that doug i have the passenger view in the file now one problem has come up and that is i load it up and when it is loading i keep getting the "OEBarPas.sms" is not found though i also have copied and pasted that into the coach's folder.

Hi Simon,
Of course we are using default stock. No one does that now!
All sound for the OEcoaches is in the 380 folder.
Copy and paste the Sound Folder from the 380 into the coach you have used should work. Backup the Coach Folder as ususal to be safe.

I only hope I have remembered it right.

just to let you know i have done but it still kept coming up with the error message i shoud just give up and have no sound in the coaches?.

That answers my next question.
Sound and which Folders are accessed is not my strong point.
I have just reread my post it could have been missunderstood.
Where did you put the Sound Folder in the Coach Folder or the .wag file.
It should go in the Coach Folder.
If that has not helped

May I suggest a New Post explaining what you have done to the .wag file and stating the error you get.
You obviously have the file it is just a matter of where to put it.
It's no doubt a simple soloution although it shows how easy it is to trip MSTS up.

hello again

this is what i have done.

i opened up the folder "BR_Pullmans_Palours_3rd" then i copied the oebarpas.SMS then all the required passenger view files into the BR_Pullmans_Palours_3rd folder which is where all the .wag's and everything else is in.

next step was
opened up the pullmancar80.wag file and placed this (copied and pasted from how it stand now"

so the file now has OEBarPas.sms file in it along with all the required passenger files. so when i load up the game after choosing clan line and loading it up it comes up with the error

Hi Simon,
OK. I see.
Here's a quick fix. Copy this line Sound ( "OEBarPas.sms" ) over the one in the Inside File. Note there is a space after the first bracket.

If that does not work

Copy and Paste:- Sound ("GenPassWagSteam.sms") From the bottom of the file
Over:- Sound ("OEBarPas.sms" ) in the Inside file.

hello doug.
i have now sorted the sounds out. what i had to do was just create a file named "sound" and change the Sound ( "sound oebarpas.sms) which it now works. Then i had to copy and paste the OEBarPas.sms and the piano waves sounds from the 380 sound folder into the new created sound folder in the Pullman folder. thanks for the help and advice you gave was taken in.
