Some info from the google translations:

According to data of the creator old vehicles with an appropriate conversion program can be used further in the KRS

At the key allocation it is beautiful that nearly all functions from the MSTS key assignment remained

I must say that that sounds all super

The water (rivers, lakes) look also very good

It ran liquid and without reloads as with another well-known simulator

The recognition degree in Hagen was much impressing, although was not to be seen some buildings (signal towers were missing all).

The doors at the railroad cars were not to be opened yet, are to however still come.

Animated fire in the Feuerbüchse. The Cabs looks all ingeniously. Smoke rises also in the leader house.

Its system at the demonstration red face
3,2 Ghz, 2 Gig RAM, Geforce 7750 Graka

In short, if R-S actually comes in September 2007 (like that it is planned)

I should have paid more attention in those german lessons.

There is a single screenshot of the DB BR 101 which travels at 80 km/h
but (unfortunately) the power and AFB controller handles are in null position. It seems to me that they really need additional time to finish this project.

And also:
Catenary won't be in zig-zag style because of performance issues.
Switches have frogs, and it is easily to make crosses, double swithes and curved switches of all sorts.
IGA is in place, as in most newer games.
Passengers walk from platform into the train car, walk through it and sit on their places.

Animated fire in the fire box. The cabs look great. Smoke was seen inside the cab, too.

Some other person did see zig-zag in catenary (in "shunting mode" which seems to translate to "viewed from inside the cab").

Guide rails were also seen in switches.

I was told at Leipzig that cabs would feature fully animated controls, it's not a matter of them needing extra time to finish it, it's more that they just haven't gotten around to adding it yet.

Is it only me or it is really superelevation - cant - of the track seen in first picture? (GR2.jpg)

And GR4.jpg shows very nice and detailed track monitor. I think, as it looks, this will be one of the better things of KRS.

@AndiS:

I can't find that statement. Could you please copy-paste into it?

Is anyone able to post some of the pics here?

I can't view the pics from the link given here...

I don't know is it allowed or not, but I'll try:

This is one with supposed superelevation/cant in the curve. Also, is it just me or catenary wires really bend in turns rather on catenary poles?

Splendid Track Monitor, also pines in forest on left side

I hope that more pictures will be available through this weekend. :drinking:

"Nach Angaben des Erstellers können alte Fahrzeuge mit einem entsprechenden Konvertierungsprogramm weiter im KRS genutzt werden."

"Hallo, ja es ist möglich Fahrzeuge aus dem TS in den RS zu konvertieren"
If my A-Level German is serving me correctly, the gist of that is that old trains can be converted into KRS from MSTS.

NOTE: I may be wrong - I'm assuming that 'TS' is MSTS.

You translated correctly, but necessary conversion program will probably not be written by Kuju. Converting models should not be difficult, because MSTS shape format is well known, and if Kujus new format is open also, then I don't see problems as long as there are some voluntary capable programmers to write a code.

More I look at the first picture I posted, more I think, that catenary wires bend in curves and not on poles.
So much speaking about right physics in new simulator and yet elementary problems are not solved. Bad bad ... :-?

I can see what you mean about it appearing to be leaning, however, what is a little worrying is that it looks like its leaning to the wrong side!! :o
