Hi Kev
I would guess it would be out in time for christmas.
I am sure you will be able to buy a copy of it in the republic of ireland.

In Railnews(UK rail industry newspaper) there is a bit about this simulator and it says it will be out later this year.

You can follow the progress by reading the newsletters that Kuju allowed me to upload to my website. See http://www.virtual-rail.co.uk/krs.htm

The most recent one - no. 10 - indeed has some info that is not on the website. Previous ones had been disappointing as they only contained slightly reformated info from the website (with very few exceptions). But http://www.virtual-rail.co.uk/krs10.pdf is different ...

While it indeed contains different content, it actually has no significant news regarding the simulator itself. :-?

Hi
But looking at a Gen Class 47 (real Traction).............is good news to me. :P ............and its titled "Return"...........so that would indicate they'd been before.
However getting Chris's surname wrong, doesn't boad well for accuracy or attention to detail...........

And? Does this mean that this locomotive is included in the game? No.

While the content is important for the success of the simulator, I am more interested in the features, as they are the base for most of what I want to do with the simulator.

Hi Jon,

Apart from it being a little mishapen and pale textured, I found little wrong with it?

Hi David

.....and the roof and exhausts all wrong..... the numbers were too small...........and all the textures look blured from more than close up and square on...and the sounds were weak and too quiet....other than that it was perfect...
Having said that...the first time I started msts I was impressed.... because I thought everything was foreign

Hi Jon,

Can't say I noticed the exhaust ports or the texture fuzzyness - and the numbers are fine for her current condition -

However I agree the sounds are poor - but not the worst 50 ones available.

It really is very amusing to see people grabbing at straws and disecting every nuance to make something of it.

Knew nothing of MSTS until I saw it on the shelf.

If the same applied to to KRS I'd be none the worse for it.

Cheers
