Special Request

The Rail Simulator forum was very busy leading up to the UK release on October 12th 2007, this is a read-only copy of those discussions for historic and review purposes.

Special Request

Please could Kuju not include the Broken Coupler bug that so many MSTS users had problems with.

Rail Simulator is, according to Kuju, a complete new program with no code from the old Train Simulator. While it surely will have its own bugs, the degree of backward compatibility is a topic of its own, but I am quite sure that Kuju wouldn't copy a buggy behavior even if it would break compatibility.

I myself, as an ex-Trainz user, am not interested on any backward compatibility on the binary level anyway. Separate converters from the old formats are IMHO a better approach.

Now, now children. Stop this silly posting!

Seriously, this is not the place for such behavior.
