2 monitors in Kuju Simulator

Will it be possible to use 2 monitors in the new simulator?

Most new vidoe graphic cards supports two monitors,
so like on Microsoft flight simulator,
you could have your cab controls on 1 monitor
and the Out of the Cab view on the other monitor!

How about a split screen?

You could either have the 2 views showing different trains (ie. a multiplayer whereby the controls are simplified so one person controls half the keyboard and the other person controls the other), or different views of the same train - imagine driving the train and relaxing in the passenger compartment at the same time?! :o

As long as DirectX is used properly I see no reason why this wouldn't work - to be honest, when MSTS is running in Windowed mode I see no reason why you couldn't do it now - both monitors would show one half of the same view though - I have done this in the RE!

I think it would be best to have to monitors idea. ONe monitor could be used for one view, the other monitor for another view, but the idea of split screen isn't good ( no offence ). I am sure people would agree with me when i say that split screen cramps everything into one screen, spoiling the whole visual aspect

2 monitors would be excellent,
1 for controls and the other for out-of-the-cab view.

Go for it Kuju!!!!!!!!

Go for it Kuju!!!!!!!!
Or an immersive in-cab view spread across 3 monitors, one looking ahead-left, one looking ahead-right and one looking straight forward

I have tried this in MSTS & have never been able to do it. MS Flight Sim allows you to use 2 screens (or more!) in this way, but as far as I know MSTS will not.
I just hope KRS will support it. 2 monitors together, giving a big widescreen view would be awesome!

They now have "wrap around" monitors with 2 monitors attached to the center one by hinges.

I have seen one used with MSFS, the center monitor showing the cockpit view forward and the side ones 2 other views.

The same could be done with a Train Sim, cab forward on the center monitor, train from the rear on the left and a moving map of where the train is in the route on the right !

Mind, you would have to very good for Santa Claus to get you one ! :)

WOW they look good, (understatement of the year ;) ) pity you'd need to win the lottery to get one though :(

if I start saving now, I might be able to afford one by the time I'm eighty, maybe ;)
