They are made in England, I am sure.

This ware the first trains on the European mainland: in Belgium....
The route was: Malines (Mechelen) > Brussels (Brussel).

I'm not certain but I think this was built by the French Paris,Lyon and Mediterranean Railway (PLM) around 1868. I've not seen this model but it looks very similar to the later elongated 2-4-2 which gave greater power.

The bottom right image looks very similar to the Firefly at the Didcot Railway Centre in the UK.

Odd, I was thinking more of "Der Adler", although I can see where you're coming from there. And am I the only one who thinks that the bottom left one looks like the old L&M "Lion" without the brass firebox cover? (And with a different tender, obviously...)

I don't think the top loco is British-built: it has Walshaerts valve gear and a Belpaire firebox, neither of which appeared on early engines. However, my first thoughts on seeing it were "Beyer-Peacock", who did build a lot of engines for foreign customers.
