Hello,
I have been setting up a route for some time now have been having problems with signals. It seems to me that due to my lack of attention while laying track some points seem to have been created with the manual junction check button set but have not had the manual lever created. I believe that this is causing problems with the signal operation and my scenarios.
Can anybody tell me if this is the case??. Is there any way of detecting the offending points other than by testing??.
Thanks
Kevin

Re: Manual Points
hi, you could create a scenario(not free roam) then have a look in the 2D map and make a note from there, manual junctions will have a blue circle

Re: Manual Points
Manual points are not a problem for the signalling. The important thing is that you put all signal markers outside the switch, i.e., not on the curved piece of track that overlaps with the straight track. The relevant borders are those shown in red when you click on it, not the blades etc.
Re: Manual Points
Sometimes, when creating trackwork, I'm in Editor mode, and see a set of points that have a tall red "handle" at the beginning of the points entry position, and note that the points have no "frogs" where the rails intersect near the centre of these points, and this undicates something is not right. I'm not sure 100% if there was a lever or not, with the button set to no lever (automatic). But this "handle" may be an indication of faulty points (not correctly formed points), so try it and see if this is the case for you, and you can check your layout and see if you can fing anymore of these "handles", and re-do the points until they're more perfect. Sometimes, you may need to remove a section of straight track and replace it so that none of the little red upward-pointing triangles are in the way of your point laying, if you're laying track towards another section of track, and wish to join to it, or I think these problems occur if you hit one of the little red triangles. At least I think this may be the case. Hope this helps.Kevin99 wrote:Hello,
