Re: Drayton Green
Thanks! that's really helpful
Though the trackplan does seem a bit dated, with some sidings that don't exist anymore still showing up!
Only one problem. What does SL stand for? Is it signals for the Underground?

Greenford Junction, looking east towards Old Oak Common.

Re: Drayton Green
Hi,
I may be able to help you on facts and figures about the Greenford branch. In the 1960/70s I was a passenger Guard based at Southall and the greenford Branch was one of our turns, and I also started on the Western region at Greenford as a Porter. First i will go through all of my old Timetables, notice books and track plans to see if i can find any information on the gradients. It did run down hill from Castle Bar till you got to Greenford south juct, and it was a very steep climb up to the bay platform on the london transport platforms. When I find anything I will be in touch, if you have any other queries about the branch please feel free to ask.
Regards
Mike Wass

Re: Greenford Branch
Oh dear...
I must be the only person upset by the release of the Mk2 upgrade.
Unbeknownst to me, RDSL had been working in similiar areas to me on the Oxford to Paddington route and both junctions are on tiles which have been altered, causing the game to crash.
That means, I'll have to install Rail Simulator on another computer, upgrade it to Mk1, then Mk2, then copy the Oxford to Paddington over my edited route, and work out which tiles I can simply copy and paste into place and which I'll have to edit again.
Just when I thought I was nearly finished with the track layout

Thank you for the gradient profile!
That'll be most helpful, since currently, it looks like I'll have to re-lay all the track...

Re: Greenford Branch
I am a driver currently based at Paddington, I don't sign the greenford branch but I do have a sectional appendix for the route. I can try scanning them and emailing them to you. If you give me a couple of days I can get onto track access and look at a cabride from west ealing to greenford for you to advise on signal sighting etc. If you would like any of this then just PM me with your email address.

do you mean this?tango4262 wrote:UpsideDownBox wrote:Thanks, I appreciate the praise.
Only a few signals placed and it's not something I'm knowledgable on, so I'm guessing and trying to use the Birds Eye views on some online maps to work out their placement.
I used to know a site that used to show basic top down plan views for most of the uk's railways, it showed Signals, Signal boxes, PW boxes....
If only i could remember what the site was,
It was a .Gov website, i remember that much
