If you've laid, and mixed a couple of different track rule tracks, like yard (15 mph) and mainline (70 mph) and then wanted to place a slower speed board, and set it to 20 mph, approaching a station stop, say, but when the fly-out box comes up, and you want to enter the 20 mph speed limit into it, after selecting the area of track for the limit, and you see this "multiple track rules" box instead, where you can't enter anything, then how do you get around this problem so you can then change the speed limit to 20 mph ? A detailed answer that's easy to work on, would be much appreciated, thanks, if anyone knows the answer to this. Cheers.

Re: Regarding "Multiple Track Rules"
Hi jim
Had this problem aswell.
the only way i found to do this is when you use select in the Linear objects you need to place this over the seperate sections of line and not beyond the red triangles ,this takes a bit of trial and error but it works.
"took me two days to add speed limits to the Blyth area"
i hope this makes sense

Re: Regarding "Multiple Track Rules"
Hi Jim,
The issue of and thus the complete recommendation not to use multiple track rules connected on the same track is just what you describe - You cannot select across them. The only way of achieving what you want would be to select the track on each side of the join seperately and apply 20mph to each.
Could you explain why you have used different track rules merely to get different Line Types (Yard / Mainline / Passenger / Freight)? As each Track Rule has these four types there is no need to use different ones for each. It is also the case that all Track Rules have access to all Track Types available (The visual look of the track), so again there is no reason why you would need more than one track rule per route. If it is to gain access to different minimum curvatures then again, all four default route related track rules feature the same 100m minimum value so there is no need to use more than one.
