Version 1 for RailSimulator has now been up-loaded to the library. I have made a version for Rallworks, but will wait a few days before up-loading it in case there are any problems that need to be resolved with the RS version.

I will monitor thiis forum any comments or issues, good, bad or indifferent.

I've downloaded Dublin Cork Assets. There is only a blank zip file, no RPK file.

Hi James,

Are you using IE8?

If you have downloaded the Route and it has not appeared as a .rpk file this is probably down to IE8 (if you have that installed). This is causing some .rpk files to be converted into .zip files when they are downloaded from the library.

Have a look at this Thread it explains what to do (I had exactly the same problem )

http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... &hilit=IE8

I just renamed the.zip to .rpk and worked perfefectly.

Isn’t there a rpk file located in the zip file when you download it? I am not seeing any rpk file. I downloaded it twice to make sure and still no rpk file. I have the route rpk file what was in the zip.

Anyway I'll have a read of that link.

All sorted, I had downloaded IE8 recently so that was the problem.

I believe it can be run without the US Cajon Pass route. But there will be many gaps as I used a lot of scenery (buildings, vegetation, animals etc.) from the US route. If you have RW-Tools, you can get a list of assets that are used in the sim and substitute these with others from the EU routes.
