Single slips

Post by npcleary »

I am probably just being thick or something but how do I create a single slip? No problem creating and welding a crossing but when I get to the second weld I only seem to be able to create a double slip..... :-? I get the white slip outline OK but what next to create either a "right" or "left" single slip?

Before you put any slips in a working layout beware... I couldn't get mine to work in a scenario and eventually replaced them with a straight diamond and a cross over. Very annoying after spending ages getting them to fit!!

No one came up with any solution to why they didn't work.

Ive had major problems with AI trains losing their paths if they path crosses a single or double slip.
Had to rip every one out and just use normal switches.
Avoid em till this issue is fixed.

Same problem here. I have re-done my double slips to produce just a simple Diamond Crossing. The Signalling never seemed to work as it should do on the Slips and I frequently encoutered a Red light even when routed correctly.

I had exactly the same problem and ended up removing all my double slips. Single slips seem to work fine for me...
