I'm no 'kiddie' myself, but definately enjoy using KRS more and more at each passing day. I bought the Expansion Pack, after purchasing the USA Version, and have both working nicely now. The only odd thing is that I think, but may not be correct, that the Expansion Pack is only installable into the USA Version of KRS.
It seems that the Installer package only wants to install things into the Rail SimulatorUSA folder, and if I want to install into the UK version of KRS, I have to backspace to remove the 'USA' from the pathname, but in the case of the Expansion Pack, I had no choice, or means of changing the path. But if the USA version of KRS is where the pack was supposed to be installed to, then no worries I guess.
I like having more objects to use for scenery, having the USA version as against only having the UK version. I just felt there weren't enough placeable objects in the UK version, to satisfy myself, when making routes, but now, it's just adequate I reckon. Even TRS2004/2006 had a lot more placeable objects to choose from, right ?
Unless I have made a mistake somewhere with installing the Expansion Pack, I dunno really, but I downloaded the Class 08 number fix from the official KRS site, and installed it in the correct location in the USA version of KRS, but on placing a copy of the Green Class 08 onto tracks and going up close to check the number, I got a surprise to see that the number seems to be that from a Class 43 HST (not sure what number it was, but it definately was '43XXX' - and that isn't an 08 Class number is it ? How has this boo-boo occurred, can someone please explain to me? And is it possible to get the expansion pack installed in the UK version of KRS, if it IS possible, and able to be done without stuffing up things ?
Regards...
Jim McDermott

Hi - the 43 xxx number given to the first loco placed is a known bug, but very simple to correct as I'm sure you have realised. If you haven't, just delete first placed loco and place another.ka959 wrote: placing a copy of the Green Class 08 onto tracks and going up close to check the number, I got a surprise to see that the number seems to be that from a Class 43 HST (not sure what number it was, but it definately was '43XXX' - and that isn't an 08 Class number is it ?
Kind regards, Paul.
