Blueprint Editor stuck in fullscreen mode

I somehow got the blueprint editor stuck into fullscreen mode; it either filled the entire screen or it minimised down to the taskbar, I couldn't get any other size, and it wasn't possible to see the Asset Editor preview screen. Fortunately, the solution doesn't involve fiddling with the registry or repairing rail simulator.
There is a file under the Rail Simulator\temp folder called _BlueprintEditorRect.dat that holds the size data. It doesn't contain ASCII characters, and can't be renamed to a bin and pushed through serz to be modified. I wasn't able to see exactly what changes I had made which had caused the locked fullscreen display, so I copied the version from the most recent backup to get back to a normal sized window.
I subsequently found out that deleting the _BlueprintEditorRect.dat file and starting the blueprint editor opens up a default square window, so anyone who refuses to take backups on moral or spiritual grounds can still get out of the problem.
