Re: Markers not showing
I have had a similar experience and have tracked it down to the non-existance ( on my system ) of the flag.xml file. Check your Asset folder in RS to see if it is there. If not you too may require a reinstall of the entire RS. Luck to you.

Re: Markers not showing
Im having the same problem.
I can see my name as the developer when trying to select the markers in dev tools but the tick wont highlight.
I think its because i havent got a file name in the blueprint ID.
I cant find flag.xml but i have a flag.bin
no matter what i try it just keeps on saying file not found when i export. Even though its definatly there in the location selected!
Any help? Do i really need the .xml file?
---------------------------------------
UPDATE.
Got the file details slightly wrong.... but still having trouble with the .bin file.
Came up with a bad .xml file warning this time and crashed blueprint editor

Re: Markers not showing
For the flags to show you need the following entries in the RouteMarker blueprint:
Provider: Kuju
Product: RailSimulator
Blueprint ID: RouteMarkers\Flag.xml
Despite what you may have read you don't need a "Flag.xml" file.
I suspect the fact that you can't select the tick indicates a problem other than incorrect entries in the blueprint, but try the above entries in the blueprint first to see if that fixes it. One other easy thing to check is that you have got the folder structure below the source folder correct (i.e. as per the dev docs ).

i have a feeling i have cracked it.... Very annoying,
i had written My name and route under the Provider and product.
Something which is not so clear on the docs.
MANY THANKS!

NOOOOO
still no joy.
I will tell you what im trying to do.
I want to add onto the Paddington line,
at the moment im opening up dev tools and this just opens rail sim as normal yeah? then i click paddington free roam? then click the developers tool (the globe) then i go to where my markers should be and when i click my name i see my file there with a greyed out green tick. But no flags
should the tick be greyed out??
Any advice? Cheers

Re: Markers not showing
Sorry I misunderstood what you meant by "the tick won't highlight". If you've got a tick there then that bit sounds right, mine looks a bit greyed out as well. I've got no experience of modifying an existing route, only building my own from scratch so I'm not sure whether the same process to get your own markers working would apply. Are you working on a copy or the original? I'll sleep on it and see if I can help any further tomorrow.
