Creating new trackrules

Post by nikos1 »

Hi everyone, i am having problems creating a new trackrule, i have followed the instructions of the developer documents with no success.
I started by going into the Blueprints editor and creating a track rule, i then entered in all the tracks from the North American version (Cajon, Siegen, Oxford, Bath) in the Absolute Blueprint ID fields, then used one of the Cajon tracks as the default track. I then get in the box at the bottom a message that says "Child Blueprint from external set-not included in build:(insert file patch here see screenshot below)
i anyways try to see if it works in RS, the blueprint name shows up but there are no tracks listed on the list when i go to replace a section of track
here is a shot of my blueprint in the Blueprint editor

and here is the example included in the Dev docs

any help figuring this out would be appreciated, im sure theres a few of you that have managed to figure this out by now

Hi!

I think that your problem is because you are trying to create a track rule with track sections from another provider (kuju).

I think that when you create a own track rule blueprint where the provider are you then you must use YOURS track section too.

Sorry for my english, I hope it helps you.

Here is a Track Rule I produced using the European version which worked correctly. Typing errors are a likely cause of problems. Case errors also. You must also have ticked the correct boxes in the Object Set Filter for things to appear inthe UI.
