How do you backup a route

Post by sean53 »

I'm having problems exporting map overlays and models into the sim. They do not show in my asset list. I think my problems stem from having Windows 7 RC as my OS. The "User Account Control" seems to occasionally prevent files being updated even though all programs are being run as an Administrator. I have my fledgling route all DEMed with both sets of markers all in. I intend to ditch Windows 7 and reinstall XP for an easier life. Before I do, how do I backup my route? I have checked the developer docs and searched the forums to no avail. Any pointers gratefully received.

Hi emrhd01

I had already tried the Route Packager in RS Tools. While saving all the Terrain.bin files it did not appear to back up the marker files. I have managed to find all ( I hope ) the marker files in the source and asset folders though and copied them. Thanks for your reply.
