Hi,
i think that the route editing facilies on rail sim are much better than msts ones, but when i try to make a new section of track extending off of one which already exists a set of buffers appears at the end of the line from which i extended. does any one know how to help. because it's really annoying me and i can't make a decent route because of this.

Lower left flyout, turn on "snap to track" (and turn off "snap track to terrain" if it's on), then the yellow doohickey will snap to the end of the previous track section when you get near it.

Re: Problems Building new route
Hi, Buffers always appear at that end of every length of track laid, and they automatically disappear with the next length that's added, appearing again at the end of that length.
Sometimes I have had two buffers appear together on the same length of track. When that happens it seems to be because the length of track has become 'split' for some reason.
I get rid of them using the weld tool. A grey square appears between the two buffers, and clicking on the grey square fixes the track again and gets rid of the buffers.
If the grey square does not appear, then something drastic has happened, for example, the two tracks are out of alignment horizontally or vertically. Deleting and relaying the track then becomes necessary.
Hope this helps,
