What have I hit?

I have tried to run, in the expert mode, the standard scenario "Lost in the Shuffle", collecting wagons at Didcot and then running to Reading. The wagon collection goes OK, and I am heading for Reading at a pedestrian speed of 50 mph.

I pass Choisey, having met a class 166 train on the other track a few minutes before. I made a save while passing Choisey.

About one minute after passing Choisey I get the message "Game over - Derailing because of collision with an AI train". I have rerun it a number of times, running as slow as 10 mph, and I cannot see any other train, neither before nor after my train. Also the next signal is green.

What have I hit? Some gost shadow from the class 166 train?

Its most likely a collision between 2 AI's, the dispatcher is not all that smart.

The best thing I ahve found with this activity is to sort the wagons as fast as possible, then just open the throotle and leave it at 100%. If you go too slow, thats when AI crashes and you carshing starts happening. The 47 tops out about 96 mph, so you'll be fine just leaving it for most of the journey (125mph line speed)

I have followed the class 166 train, the one I met before Choisey, on the 2D-map. It is running in a westerly direction after Didcot, where the simulated rail end after some miles. At that line there is another train standing still. When this 166-train runs into the stillstanding train the AI collision occurs and the game ends.

I hope there will be a patch coming, that takes away this type of game errors. I like the RS game, but such errors must be corrected.
