Hi,
Use RS Bin Tool to extract DDS files from the TgPCdX files - you can then re-export your modified dds file back to the TgPCdX or you can convert the dds to an ace file then use the Asset Editor to create a new item.
RS Bin Tool is available in the UKTrainsim library.
Cheers

ToAce just takes bmp, dds,tga or jpg textures and converts them to ACE files for new IGS models.
It does not extract textures from existing models.
It works in a very similar fashion to AceIt.

Either ToAce or the Asset Manager converter does not seem to work for me. I have a 256x256 .bmp file but after ToAce and then running it through the Asset Manager, my model is red all over. Using RS Bin Tool, I can see that the TgPCdX texture file created is all red. If I manually create the .dds file from my .bmp and use RS Bin Tool to recreate the TgPCdX file, my model looks right in the Route Editor.
I used DXT1 in ToAce, but I have also tried other options, always with the same result. Am I doing something wrong?

I`ve tried 256x256 jpg, bmp, tga and always get "file load failed" error message. Then I used TGATools2 to convert the same image and RS accepted it! (But it was only for a route template, not a model).
Some more info about Toace would be useful.

For Vista users with the file load error - If you can get Shape Viewer 2.1 installed and working, it may fix the ToAce error (they use the same library files)

We found the issue regarding Vista and the next version of the tools will have the updated Toace app.
Will let you know when we put an updated version up.
