This is a superb model and Kev's finest yet imo, the reflection and bump textures are tremendous, and here are some shots leaving bath green park....

Just had a play with the Ivatt. Cracking loco Kev. Any plans for a standard 4 (tender or tank?)

Thanks Dave,

Not sure about he std 4. I think if I was going to make another loco, then I'd be tempted to do a more colourful one, before I get typecast as the "one who makes black locos!" ;)

The Ivatt Class 2 2-6-0 that were build at Swindon were painted green and were numbered 46503-46527

Hello Stuart,

The Swindon-built locos were all painted black when new, I'm sure that 46521 has carried green only in preservation (although I'm happy to be corrected!).
The article you've linked to can be interpreted as saying that they were turned out (as in built) in Green, but the BR Green era for any loco other than express passenger locos didn't start until I believe either 1956 or 1957, later than when the final 2MTs were outshopped.
