Yes I hope to get them sorted and up for download later this week but it depends really how much time I have - I'm back to college Monday :(

Ironic while you are waiting in the que I am reskinning the TGS as I type this :P

As you can see its almost done - I just have that strip of red that needs to be changed, but its a devil to work out whch pixels of the texture it's mapped from :( still i'll get there in the end :)

Yes it is tricky, sorry for that, the artist was trying to save space by reusing textures, however it has made reskinning of these coaches difficult.

We will release all the images with the mapping coordinates for all rolling stock over the coming weeks.

Thanks Derek - I have I think found the part of the texture that corresponds to the stripe. It is simply just 20 odd coloured pixels repeated along the entire top of the car. I notice also that you have used both the MK3TSO and the MK3TGS textures to cover the one MK3Guard model.

Yes it does make reskinning difficult :p - I've created a new folder for it rather than putting it in with the MK3TSO - I hope this will therefore cause it to load only the 1 texture like the first class MKTFO.

Either that or it will use 2 textures but wont have that tricky stripe to deal with.

-Okay just tried that... it still requires 2 texture files... I can see how your artist was trying to save space and RAM during play but honestly :P Instead of loading the 2 different texture files it loades the 1 and about 1/3 of the other. Thats smart thinking.

Owh now it has that stripe again.

Is there any way of getting the MK3TGS model to use only the 1 texture file that way it won't need the MK3TSO texture and thus wont have the stripe?

One small point, the body lifting points on the photos i am using are yellow in color not white, dont think it matters though.

The buffet car after about an hours worth of reskinning - missing logo and white stripes.

Yes I know the yellow first class stripe over the top of the door was only at the one end but unfortunately due to the mapping of the texture it is only possible to have it over the doors on both ends or not have it at all.

Looking very nice :). May I suggest though that you upload the TGS and buffet within the whole pack and not as separate downloads?

I agree, and if I had my way it would have been one texture per coach, but those were done before I even joined the company and before I could add some common sense to some crazy methods used.
But having said that it looks fantastic, so can not be too hard on him.

But with future rolling stock things will be easier.

Yes I did get your message and I agree with you the roof is too shiny!

I will correct it and upload the set as version 2 complete with the buffet and TGS car if I can get the textures to work for both - i'm having a few problems with that at the moment. It may well be another week before its sorted though so you may have to wait a bit longer, in the meantime I hope your enjoying the added variation! :)

Nope not tried weathering much - it a delicate thing plus it takes a lot of time. Some weathered stuff would be good though it is a bit odd seeing a perfectly clean HST :P

By all means richa can have a go at weathering the Virgin HST stuff if he wants

I haven't had a go because I generally remember Virgin HSTs to be clean and I can't find any photos which don't support this.

Strange to think KRS has only been out a few months and the Virgin Diesel fleet is already nearly complete bar the Voyager which is in production by Railwaves :)
