I'm off galavanting round the country this week, so I won't be working on my route for now. Plan to continue it though. Alot of nice stuff coming along

That appears to be a very tall two-storey building, those breeze blocks must be 3ft tall.

Indeed, but don't blame me, they're not custom objects!

A good start to route building
But why didnt you edit the station on the default rail simulator route
It can be don e just dont go messing around with trackwork or signals that might upset default senarios
as that station needs what would seem alot of work but only needs the current monstrous signal box replaced with a smaller one and moved on the platform see the MSN website for a reference visit http://www.sdjr.co.uk and of course move the station building nearer the bridge and hey presto the station should look alot more like it should. I konw you can edit default routes because Kuju derick said you could.
Have fun
Tom

Re: General User Created Route Screenshots [Large Files]
Hi Tom
I decided to do it as a separate route called 'Midsomer Norton' rather than edit the existing one...though I'll agree about the station. The nameboard is there, but that's all so far.
However, I did use a small default UK box, as here.

Again, careful positioning was used to apply the nameboard.
This is all WIP, and just something to start me off.

The Midsomer Norton Signalbox is half-way down the Northbound (up? down? I dunno...) platform.

it's ok, neither can the sim makers!
Cracking shots there, makes me think of the Sheffield / Rotherham areas...

Hello, the signalbox was situated on the southern end of the Northbound UP platform, about a quarter of the way along.arabiandisco wrote:The Midsomer Norton Signalbox is half-way down the Northbound (up? down? I dunno...) platform.

Something I've been working on since RS came out.
A fictional preserved line, which should be about 10 miles long when finished.

That's the first 1/2 mile, and the most complete part of it so far.

Re: General User Created Route Screenshots [Large Files]
Here are some of mine still in the process of adding scenery to the first mile but it now has Speed Limits and some working signals on it.
The route is a ficitous Preserved line in which will properly strech up to around 5 mils
Click on thumbnails for bigger pics as i haven't resised them yet.
From the Main Road looking towards the station.

Looking at the station that now has some Station Buildings on it and some track weeds as well

From the Top of the Factory buildings looking at the line.

The Town's Pub a very important building

Looking at the Station before buildings were added, Got an Modern Signal as i couldn't get the Semiphore junction signals to work

Can i just ask where in the menu's do you find the water coloums?
Chris
