Nice pic Harcourt – had an inkling you’d get into this sim.

How about with half-lit, wet and generally miserable English weather?

I started changing the weather earlier... out of interest, what would everyone be more interested in - screenshots from the same are when new things are added or with different settings, or new sections of the route that are work in progess?

I think the speed that people are building routes (with default built-in content) in Rail Simulator compared with what they were doing in MSTS shows just how much easier the tools are to use in Rail Simulator, and hopefully it'll really help in the coming months and years when completely new content is being introduced to the simulator and making way for some amazing add-ons :D

Quite a lot of good screen's their and also going to be some good routes as well.

I've managed to make an very basic yard in KRS, with an turntable, so much easier then MSTS

Nice shot JD
Thanks Edgar and all for the comments, I am getting stuck into to it, but taking things slowly, I seem to learn something new everyday with KRS. :)
Haven't tried different weather, will do next time, I'd like to see what my route looks like in snow! :D

Guys, I am very impressed with some of your routes at this very early stage of RS. From the looks of it, It seems like the editor is fairly easy to some of the people, So I am hoping it is for me when I get the sim later this year. Great job guys.

Very nice Daz, you have a nack at making those rugged industrial locations. :D
Havn't yet loaded a container train, I hoping it will be the ususally 'T' to get the flat wagons loaded. :)

I don't want to sound like a damp squib here.....BUT

Only a few of these shots show any depth of scenery, even along the track, let alone either side of it.

None are taken from an elevated view point to give a decent perspective of the entire virtual world.

This isn't a criticism of the shots posted, some excellent stuff here, rather a dissapointment at what those posted so far don't show.
