I've had a quick tinker with it, just getting used to the tools.

What you see is essentially what is there, still need to get my head around landscaping.

Welcome to my world. For me, the track is normally at different longtitude and langtitude points to my starting point.

I am only going to make the Scratchwood Junction route when I get specifications from the staff over at the forum, and then - who knows?

Thanks, but really there some gripes I have with the route editor, I find there's very little control over the splines and this is hampering further development of my first atttempt!

Oh, I have to disagree there, I'm loving the new spline editing system.... It's taken so much of the boring measuring I used to have to do in TRS out of the equation.

Tangents are your best friend.

Tremendous work has been done by everyone.

I also have a question - how do I connect two existing lines?

I am making a test route to prepare for my planned Scratchwood Junction route, but I am having problem connecting existing lines.

You need to get the angles right or it wornt work. Be inventive!

Failing that, I might end up producing a video, or some screenshot to demonstrate the process.

I've never made a route before, in BVE or MSTS... but I started the Lea Valley Line in KRS. I live at Enfield Lock, so that's where I started.

These are early screenshots, by the way. Obviously this route is electrified, but seeing as there currently aren't any EMU's, I thought I'd work with 166s for now.
