Hi Guys
When I got the Bristol to Sheffield route about 3 months ago, I wasnt impressed at all to find that the route was only built from Bromsgrove & Lickey Incline to Burton-on-Trent, weherer there is grass after. I am was expecting it to actually go to Bristol and Sheffield. Is this a known thing, and been already raised, as I am not sure. Also, I am a bit dissapointed in it. Also, wil there be a Vx.x or soemthing, which may inlcude the locations.
The ony real reason I got it is that it sounded the longest rotue I have heard of for RS, and also, i wanted to drive my new Voyager from JustTrains on it as real workings.
Cheers

Re: Bristol to Sheffield - Not What I Had Hoped
This is a work in progress route as all my routes are..
After giving the LMS a route to run on I made one for the Southern 'Portsmouth Chichester' one for the Western 'South Devon Banks' and a couple for the narrow guage fans.
I thought this the best policy to give a better variety. I am working on the Burton - Derby section north wards and to Cheltenham in the south.. all things take time..

Geoff
Great to hear that you will/may be going back to previous routes to extend them as I always enjoy them.
Always look forward to your routes - I don;t know how you manage such prodigous output!

Hi,
Have to agree with you there Chris, they are indeed fine routes well developed for the community.
If it was not for route creators like Geoff we would be struggling to make head way with the Simulator.
Long may your creative ability flourish.
Regards
Mike

Jeff, are you planning on doing the Gloucester-Bath line as well? I guess you have to draw a line somewhere, but it would be nice to see somebody do the Avon valley.
Re: Bristol to Sheffield - Not What I Had Hoped
Thanks Geoff. I am a route builder myself, so unnderstand about the routes taking time, so I agree that it is hard to make longer routes.
