RailWorks Box Shots

General discussion about Rail Simulator that doesn't really fit in to any specific category. A good place to start if you're not sure what category it should fit in to as well.

Hi Stephen,
Yes I do genuinely hope so! I would love a really good top of the range Railway Simulator. I say 'Railway Simulator' because I love the whole railway scene, routes, timetables, trackplans, signalling, the whole infrastructure through townscapes and landscapes.
I am not a games player, just a railway and model railway enthusiast in its broadest sense, and I love to have a computer (I started off with a Sinclair ZX81!) but finances are a serious issue at my age.
I do wish RailWorks well.
regards Ted.

Coming from a railway family I caught the bug early
My Grandfather was a Railway Policeman and my Father a boiler fitter at Beyer Peacocks at Gorton Manchester
Anyway I'm wandering off topic

The official info tells us:
- download version > 12th of June
- boxed version > 3th of July.

I was a bit wrong.
In Belgium we speak German, French and Dutch.
We have 3 regions and 3 languages.
The Flemish part speaks Dutch or Flemish.

In Belgium we have a "language border"....
This border divided the country into two major parts.
In the north the Flemish part, in the south the French-speaking part.
(in the south-east > a small German speaking part > the region of Eupen)

It's a kind of relation you have had in the UK, between Scotland and England.
Here in Belgium we had the oppression of the French (speaking Belgians he) against the Flemings (Flanders).
Even today the top-jobs are in hands of French-speaking people.

All of "the nobility" speaks French....
Even our Royal Family likes the French language.
and they have great difficulty speaking Dutch or Flemish.

It's never been a matter of language, do not assume this.
It's that oppression and humiliation.
Ubi bene, ibi patria.

Hi Theo, yes i am aware of the problems there as i viewed a program on tv about it. I wasn't being political, your previous answer relating to de derde and de 3de reminded me of the old police song from the 80's :o
