Railworks screenshots

General discussion about Rail Simulator that doesn't really fit in to any specific category. A good place to start if you're not sure what category it should fit in to as well.

Why does todays screenshot look like a cartoon??? It looks like a screenshot from an animated kids cartoon about a guy and his dog going for an adventure in the mountains.
TinTin anyone??? LOL!! But seriously, the screenshot looks wrong.

There is no screen shot for Sunday, the team took it upon themselves to have another day off.
crazy I know.
And while I was testing on Sunday I just failed to press the print screen button, it looked amazing though!

Normal service will resume today.

Derek
One day late but engineering works at Guildford now nearly completed and normal service will resume shortly.
(Some retraining of staff may be required however - e.g. the technical aspects of pressing the print screen button)
I think some retraining has taken place and the screenshot is of such high quality that it might be difficult to accept that it is actually a screenshot from the simulation, but I am sure it is just that. :D

The Germans look after their locomotives very well and this one is just out of the paint shop perhaps.

Unlike the Dutch ones, they are always dirty.

Hi,

Can we give the criticism a miss.

Yes, everybody is only commenting , passing ones valid opinion, but its all getting rather boring and predictable in my opinion.

I think the latest screenshot clearly indicates that cars now stop at crossings - hopefully that's true as I found the urge to apply the emergency brakes before...

A recent press release says that Jeremy Clarkson has been advising the RailWorks team and has been test driving the cars in the simulator and says that they are great. 'It was a bit of a tight squeeze in one or two of them but I was able to stick my head through the roof where necessary which solved the problem'.
