I've just downloaded the new Railway Centre v2 and noted the list of "Needs" in order to get the route to run, in the ReadMe file. I've got everything I need apart from the German object called "Eisenbrucke" in the ReadMe file. I got onto that site, and looked for the object, whatever it might be, but couldn't find it. Tried to do a search usinig the name, but suspect the search engine will not find the object because I'm using an English keyboard, and the object's name is spelt with two accent dots over the "u", which I can't duplicate without trouble. I'm in my early 60's, and have just come home from hospital following a minor stroke, and just can't be bothered stuffing around with this kinda thing, just for one object to download, and then reverse it all.
Is anyone able, at all, assist me to get this one object somehow, without too much trouble, or suggest a place with easy access ? Would be great if the German site had an "English Language" option like some European sites seem to have, but then the Gremans would probably be bawling for us to provide a German language option on this site as well ?? Can't have it both ways I guess, but surely some kind soul may have an answer that would help me to get this file need ? If anyone is able to help me out, then thanks heaps, mate.
Regards...

Hi Jim
Sorry to hear about your recent illness. Perhaps continuing to fathom out the way Rail Simulator works will help to give your brain good exercise.
With regard to translation of websites, Babelfish does a passable job - http://babelfish.yahoo.com/
Under the section where it says translate a web page, copy and paste into that field the address of the German website you want to read, tell Babelfish that you want to convert from German to English (no antipodean option I am afraid) and after a few seconds you should get back to that page with a sort of English translation. The English as a bit quaint but usually understandable. In addition, as long as you stay on that website, all pages will be translated as you bring them up.
Have a go, it is quite easy.

Hi Jim,
Re translating web sites, I use Internet explorer 8. Theres an option where if you select a block of text from a website , right click and chose translate, you can have the whole page transated into english and compared side by side.
It does ease the frustration factor.

Others might appreciate that link, though, as it was a bit difficult for me, at least. But as for me, I now have that bridge, and The Railway Centre route is just fine for me as it is. I got everything else with no trouble, but my German is a bit rusty, and my headaches began, but are now gone, ta.KeithBridges wrote:HI
