dts gwr coaches

General discussion about Rail Simulator that doesn't really fit in to any specific category. A good place to start if you're not sure what category it should fit in to as well.

They are lovely models though and add variety to steam routes in particular to the ever growing mk1's, any thing can look nice infront of them but the prairie's in particular with a slow stopper

Hi,
Well worth buying if you are into the steam age/early dieselisation age.
The only non-corridor 'slam-door' stock at the moment and very useful on their own, or as a non-corridor strengthener coach on the front or back of a three coach corridor Mk1 set of coaches.
We had a lot of 'Corridor three-set and S' trains on our local services in the East Midlands area during the 1945-1960 era, so I am well pleased to have them, even if they are GWR prototypes.
regards Ted.

Yes they are nice models and well worth buying, give your support to DT, they have given us a lot of freebies! :D
I'd like to make a head out of window view as the passenger view for these coaches, done this with the default green RS Mk1's but not had any success with DT or Slys maroon Mk1's.

I also agree. DT has released some excellent stock recently some freeware and some payware. I'm pleased to support them and hope we see some of their clay renders transformed into early releases.
