IGA wagons

General discussion about Rail Simulator that doesn't really fit in to any specific category. A good place to start if you're not sure what category it should fit in to as well.

Oh dear, this is not good. Am I losing my marbles? I was pressing Ctrl+Shift+C.

*Edit* But wait. I was able to couple to the failed loco. :-?

*Edit2* A quick check of the manual proves I was doing it right after all, so problem still exists.

If the preferences were set to enable automatic coupling, and it wouldn't do it, then it's likely there's a possible gap between the loco and the first wagon/coach that won't allow the player loco to get any closer, and it's just like banging into the buffers of the wagon/coach, but you're not actually touching them - know what I mean here ? Sometimes, by saving and reloading the scenario, it can be made possible to couple to the offending piece of rolling stock. Other times, I've had to replace the piece of rolling stock first, and restart the scenario, and it generally works correctly this time round.

I tried the scenario again and this time I was able to couple to the wagons without any problem and enjoy the journey. :D

Here's a screenshot I took as my train passed Reading. A First Great Western HST powers away in the background.

I haven't seen an option for paying via PayPal, only credit or debit cards.

hi, ...
Well, if they would Paypal have their addons even more selling.
Even in all countries.
This applies to the Voyager, and also for the Wagons Addon Series.

Maybe they sell so well enough.

Unfortunately we don't. Last time we looked at Paypal they seemed to offer very little in the way of supporting the merchant (that's us), and it's simply not good enough dealing with a faceless company as they appear to be on something as important as billing. What do we do when it goes wrong and has done so to your (the customer) disadvantage and need them to try and sort it. We accept a number of credit/debit cards, and it might be worth looking at something like Splash Plastic if you don't already have a card.

Hi Simon, i use paypal alot and find them very useful, i had a dispute with a seller and their complaints procedure worked very well if a bit long winded. Maybe an option for the future then maybe possibly  ?
I have both your wagon packs and very nice they are too.

Pardon my curiosity here, but it is PayPal that has something like "HelpMeDownload.com" that appears on your credit card statement after purchasing things from places that deal with rail stuff ? I began to notice this appearance on my statements, and a charge from anything like $9.00 to $14.00 or more, but nothing to explain what this "HelpMeDownload.com" is supposed to do. Or how it's supposed to "help" me in any way, to download whatever. I tried to contact them, and got a response, but it was rather vague and hard to work out. I'd be most grateful if you or anyone were able to shed some light on this, or the possible meaning of the name itself. Cheers.

Sounds fishy to me, but then again, I'm a highly sceptical person

Usually, when buying "stuff" via Paypal, at some point during the transaction, it'll tell you just what to expect to see on your CC bill in relation to this specific transaction. All my recent transactions using PP over the last six months or so have had the prefix "PAYPAL *" on them, followed by the name of the vendor.

I have been totally satisfied with the service provided by Paypal both as a buyer and a seller (eBay stuff).

A quick Google for helpmedownload dot com reveals some interesting info, none of it positive...

If you're feeling brave, check out this link which purports to be a means by which to check which transactions are associated with an email address you supply. As I said, me being sceptical, I'd anticipate a whole ton of spam from this, however, this is also why I tend to use "throw-away" free email accounts

I think you probably mean the "IWB" version, as opposed to the IGA Flatbed version which was released today. Glad you are enjoying them!

Exciting news of another (unannounced) PlusPak coming soon :D
