Phase 1 Beta of The Stoke to Market Drayton Line..

General discussion about Rail Simulator that doesn't really fit in to any specific category. A good place to start if you're not sure what category it should fit in to as well.

Hi

I know this is probably not the place to ask but just wondering if anyone has created any activities for this route that they are willing to share, and wondering how phase 2 of the route is going if it is still being done.

Thanks

Hello Tony, thanks for your Interest in my route.
I'm still working on it with more scenery put in place and will be doing a few vids to show its progess. I have mainly been completing the Stoke to Market Drayton section, though still to more at the other end.
I have been thinking of maybe doing a scenario or two for it myself, though I want to make sure all signaling is in place first as well as speed limits (which I must admit i should have done whilst laying the track).. shouldn't take too long.
I will give another update when I am closer to releasing phase 2.. in the mean time if anyone wants to try and do a scenario for it, by all means have a go.. be my guest!! :)

Regards

Scenario for The Stoke to Market Drayton Line..

Post by petestuart »

I am now currently making a scenario, or maybe two to start off with. I am still adding speed limits and changing the odd junction to adhear to the timetable. The scenario I am currently working on (11:05 to Market Drayton) is complying with the NSR's 1910 timetable. There is a lot of traffic movement involved with this route, so it will take a little while to get finished... but it is looking very promising indeed at the moment, and all trains seem to be sticking to the timetable nicely :)
I shall probably do a freight scenario for my next one :)

Kind Regards

Pete.

Thanks very much for this, Pete. I've not yet tried the scenario, though. I'm still exploring the route to see what's new.

Unfortunately, I'm more of a consumer than a contributor these days so your work is very much appreciated.

Hi, sorry about that! you will need ID: 19052 (SR Junction Signals), 18787 (SR Bracket & Junction Signals) and 1151 (SR Banner Repeaters) - though I have only used one of these on the route.

Hi there all guys, just a quick note to you all that I have now gone over to RailWorks :drinking: so that is where I am concentrating my effots.. I thought it was the time to do so after a long pause for thought. RS has tought me alot about simming and route building and without you guys I probably would not have got far.
I will still come back over here from time to time to keep you guys company! I still don't blame some of you who have not switched over yet, but what I have experienced so far is not bad.. Though of course I won't forget where it all started from

Best Regards
