Class 66 problem?

General discussion about Rail Simulator that doesn't really fit in to any specific category. A good place to start if you're not sure what category it should fit in to as well.

Class 66 problem?

Post by dean1986 »

Just installed class 66 add on for RS and noticed when I apply the brake then release them the train picks up speed. So if I release the break say doing 20 mph the train will then speed up to 30mph and it does this no I am not applying any power. Its very annoying because I was pulling up to a signal and released the break and the train shot through the signal  . I also had this problem with a 47 also but since I reinstalled RS it just does it with a 66.

P.S Merry Xmas to everyone at Uktrainsim

Its a big problem that does not seem to be fixable and is hugely frustrating.

I had this problem the other night with a pair of 47s and rake of HAAs. Found the only way to cure it is to come to a complete stop and then restart, which I guess you would've had to do anyway if said signal was passed at danger.
