Re: HDR for Rail Simulator!!!
Hi Chris
What I have just done is re-installed my back up copy of Rail Simulator
I have found the colouration effects too glaring for my liking
Also in Wintery conditions distant lineside objects are a mere outline
This is only my personal opinion and it is for others to decide if they are happy with the effects or not?
Kind regards and best wishes to you all Stephen

I do agree but I urge you to check out http://vality7.googlepages.com/mwfx2 to see how the effects can be altered to your liking. From what I can tell there is a lot of room to edit.

Re: HDR for Rail Simulator!!!
Yeah good idea, it didn't do anything to my RS in terms of changes it just added the DLL so it acts as another layer. I will try and get an edited enbseries.ini file up if Strudders allows it so you can have less blur etc.

Re: HDR for Rail Simulator!!!
If you want to uninstall, look for "Uninstal.exe" in your RS directory.

If some of you chaps who can understand the tweaks you can make. I am happy to sit on the fence and try again once you have done some testing.

Re: HDR for Rail Simulator!!!
And that is exactly the reason I asked first Stephen, I don't want to find out that I would have to do a re-install of RS if I didn't like them.stephenholmes wrote:Hi Chris

Re: HDR for Rail Simulator!!!
Sorry for my absence over last few days I've had to do the whole family thing over xmas
Now I've tweaked the effect and is now avalible to download. The bloom only effects the brightest of surfaces now so should be much more tollerant to the eyes..(no more wearing welding goggles whilst driving
